Scotch-Brite™ Heavy Duty Dishwand Refills is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 642.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from The rubber buttons are horrible The sponge/scrubber works great on cleaning dishes, but the little rubber button/stopper just falls right out of its hole, spilling dish soap down the sink and on the counter. I was just doing dishes a few minutes ago and the rubber button fell out of the wand and went right down into the garbage disposal. So now, I get to go fish it out somehow so it doesn't get stuck in there. The worst part of this design is that the button is completely unnecessary since the soap will saturate the sponge via capillary action on its own. The button essentially does nothing. I won't buy this product ever again unless they redesign it without the button.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Confounding! I have been using my dish wand for a while now. Although I love the general idea and the way it speeds dishwashing, it wasn't always so. The wand leaked so badly from the fill cap end that I had to create my own foam gasket to fit inside the cap. Now it doesn't leak from the handle, only from the scrubber sponge. I never use the rubber push button so it has never fallen out. Never had a problem with soap not extruding from the hole behind the pad, in fact it flows copiously to the point of leaking even when stored upright in a tall tumbler under the sink. Wish there was another way to store it out of sight without getting soap all over.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Agree with other reviews: Fair, at best The push-button dispenser idea is poor. The rubber push button doesn't stay attached...and never actually does anything when it is. The viscosity of your dish soap may be thick or thin, but it doesn't matter: It'll leak out if not carefully balanced on its back. Halfway through washing, the dispenser will be full of half dish soap and half dish water. What good's a replaceable brush head if you can't find a replacements? The green/yellow pad/sponge refills are around, but good luck finding the bristle brush head like I bought. Last but least, the knob and button are now an ugly blue, easily the worst non-coordinating color 3M could have come up with.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I have used dishwands for years and usually buy Scotch-Brite. I love the assortment of replacement heads. I use the sponge for dishes, the non-scratch heavy duty sponge for cleaning my stainless steel sink and the brush refill for scrubbing vegetables. I toss the regular dish sponge head in the dishwasher to clean and sanitize. Now, the reason for my average rating...the new wand with the blue button starts leaking after a few weeks. I have to dry out the wand and super glue around the seal. This is very disappointing to me. The original wand worked great and never leaked. Also, some wands leak around the cap. I have to use plumber's tape to seal it up.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from soap dispensing dishwand needs revamp I love the idea of the dishwand, but had issues with the plug not fitting securely. After a few days of use, the plug would not fit tightly anymore and the dishwashing liquid would spill out around it. The second time around (I purchased two at the same time) the plug fell out after about two days and the garbage disposal ate it. I think you need to go back to the drawing table on this design. Somehow the plug itself needs to be a better design and it needs to be attached to the wand so that if it falls off, it isn't lost for good. I'm still using the brush part, but with no suds since the plugs don't work.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from dishwand disaster This is a total waste of time and money...neither which I have to spare. What seems like a great ideal turns out to have a great scrubber top but the wand leaks soap no matter how you leave it. If you leave up-right it leaks from the bottom if you leave on it's side it leaks from the head and the bottom and if you leave upside down the head leaks...and its not just one - yes I bought two one for work and one for home and they both leak everywhere - wasting soap and creating quite the mess. I know dishwands in other brands work - I've used before but since I like Scotch Brite products I bought their dishwand when needing a new one...bad mistake. Not only did I pay more money but it has been a total waste of my money ...and my time cleaning up after the leaks!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Control - Pear-Shaped Dishwand Refill I have been using Scotch-Brite dishwands for many years, probably as long as they have been marketed by anyone. In the old days, the shape of the sponge/scrubber head and the refills was rectangular. I NEVER had one of those refills separate from the hard plastic base that snaps into the dishwand handle. I would use those refills for a year or more, even with the heavy use I put them through as an almost exclusive hand dish washing bachelor. When 3M "improved" the design to the current pear shaped scrubber/sponge head and refill, I tried several and got a 100% failure rate in a matter of a few weeks, due to the separation of the sponge/scrubber material from the hard plastic base. I complained to 3M at that time, and asked for a replacement of the failed product, preferably with the older, more reliable and longer-lasting rectangular refills. My request was granted; I used the replacement, discontinued rectangular refills for several more years, up until recently. Now, forced to buy the new refills once again, I again have experienced a 100% failure rate in a matter of weeks for the currently marketed refill product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dishwand....and more I love the dishwand because we constantly have dirty dishes being put in the sink and it helps me to keep up on them without having to fill a dishpan every time there's more put in! It's also handy to go around the sink and give it a quickie cleaning after doing the dishes. I use another to keep up on "dirty" jobs such as floor spot cleaning and the sides of the plastic garbage can. The scrubbie removes the stains and again, I'm saving on dish washing liquid. I love that it gets the soap right to the place I need it without a lot of waste and anything that makes kitchen cleaning easier, is a winner in my book! Thanks for such a versatile product!!
