Homeowner checklist to keep your house running smoothly
Your home is your castle, so you want to keep it running smoothly. Keeping on top of certain tasks, whether it’s monthly, quarterly or annually, could save you a small fortune in repairs in the long run. Here are a few items to keep a close eye on.
1. Every month
- Check all of your vents for potential obstructions, including vents on your appliances like your refrigerator and stove.
- Clean out your garbage, recycling and green bins by pouring dishwashing liquid into the bottom of the empty bin and then using a hose to wash them out. If there are caked on bits of grime along the sides, put on a pair of plastic gloves and use a Scotch-Brite™ No-Scratch Scrub Sponge to remove. 2. Every quarter
