1. Shower Cleaner

Natural Shower Cleaner

Tools + Ingredients

1 1/2 - 1 cups water
1 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup rubbing alcohol
1 teaspoon liquid dish soap
Optional: 15 drops of your favorite essential oil
Scotch-Brite™ Non-Scratch Scrub Sponge

Instructions

Step 1
Mix all ingredients in a spray bottle.

Step 2
Spray shower after each use.

Step 3
Scrub with Scotch-Brite™ Non-Scratch Scrub Sponge for a deeper clean.

2. Toilet Cleaner

Toilets need love, too. Harsh chemical cleaners can be offensive to the senses and frankly quite expensive. As an alternative, try making your own natural toilet cleaner with a few ingredients found around the house.

Natural Toilet Cleaner

Tools + Ingredients

1 cup distilled white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon tea tree oil
1/2 cup baking soda
Spray bottle
Scotch-Brite® Microfibre Cloth

Instructions

Step 1
Combine 1 cup distilled white vinegar and 1/2 teaspoon tea tree oil in spray bottle. Spray toilet bowl and surface. Let sit for several minutes.

Step 2
Sprinkle 1/2 cup baking soda into toilet and scrub with brush.

Step 3
Wipe oslution off with Scotch-Brite® Microfibre Cloth.

3. Grout Cleaner

Grout. Hands down the trickiest part of any bathroom to keep clean. But when it sparkles, the whole bathroom feels rejuvenated. Try this easy home remedy for grout gunk.

Natural Grout Cleaner

Tools + Ingredients

1/2 cup baking soda
1/4 cup hydrogen peroxide
1 teaspoon liquid dish soap
Scotch-Brite™ Grout Scrubber

Instructions

Step 1
Mix all ingredients in a squeeze-top bottle.

Step 2
Squeeze onto grout. Let sit for 1-2 minutes, so it gets into all the spaces.

Scrub with Scotch-Brite™ Grout Scrubber.

4. Drain Cleaner

Clogged drains happen. That's just the way of the bathroom. Instead of stressing out over calling the plumber or resorting to intense drain chemicals, try this simple trick.

Natural Drain Cleaner

Tools + Ingredients

1/2 cup distilled white vinegar
1 cup baking soda

Instructions

Step 1
Pour baking soda into the drain.

Step 2
Pour vinegar into the drain and cover drain with a plug. Then, let drain sit for 30 minutes, allowing the mixture to work its magic.

Step 3
After 30 minutes uncover the drain and run hot water down the drain for 2-3 minutes. For tougher, backed-up drains repeat steps 1-3.

5. Mould and Mildew Cleaner

Tools + Ingredients

1 cup baking soda
2 cups water
1 cup white vinegar
Scotch-Brite™ Tub Scrubber

Instructions

Step 1
In a bowl, mix 1 cup of baking soda and 2 cups of water into paste.

Step 2
Apply the paste to areas in your bathroom affected by mould. Use the Scotch-Brite™ Tub Scrubber to work the mixture into grout and tight corners.

Step 3
Rinse the treated areas with water. If white residue from the baking soda remains, rinse again with 1 cup of white vinegar.
